Premium Riser Doors
for Maximum Performance

Every premium riser door is independently tested across fire, acoustic, smoke and airtightness criteria. Supplied with full test reports for Building Control, acoustic consultants and fire engineers.

120 Minute Fire Rating

Independently tested to BS 476 Part 22, BS EN 1634-1:2014+A1:2018 and BS EN 1364-2:2018 from both sides. Maximum fire compartmentation for the most demanding environments.

48dB Acoustic Performance

Sound reduction up to 48dB Rw tested to BS EN ISO 10140-2:2010. Meets Part E and BB93 requirements for residential and education projects.

Full-Perimeter Smoke Seals

Cold smoke sealed to BS EN 1634-3:2004 with continuous seals around the full door perimeter. Prevents smoke leakage through service risers on escape routes.

Airtightness Tested

Airtightness performance tested to BS EN ISO 9972 for projects targeting low air permeability. Helps achieve Part L compliance and reduce energy loss through service penetrations.

Fire Rating and Testing Performance

Each riser door is independently tested and supplied with formal test reports and data sheets for Building Control approval.

Advantages of Premium Riser Doors

The highest fire, acoustic and smoke performance for projects where life safety is the priority.

Complete Compartmentation

Fire, acoustic, smoke and airtightness in a single tested doorset. No need to specify separate seals or additional treatments.

Acoustic Separation

Up to 48dB Rw sound reduction to minimise noise transmission through service risers. Meets Part E and BB93 requirements.

Smoke Control

Full-perimeter cold smoke seals prevent smoke leakage through risers on protected escape routes. Tested to BS EN 1634-3:2004.

Part L Airtightness

Airtightness tested to BS EN ISO 9972. Helps achieve building envelope targets and reduce energy loss through service penetrations.

Fast UK Delivery

Manufactured and delivered in 3–5 working days from our Nuneaton facility. No import delays or extended lead times.

Premium Riser Door FAQ

Everything you need to know about specifying premium riser doors.

Premium riser doors add acoustic performance up to 48dB Rw, full-perimeter cold smoke seals and airtightness testing to the fire rating provided by standard doors. All four performance criteria are tested as a single assembly, so you get one set of documentation covering fire, acoustic, smoke and airtightness.
Premium riser doors achieve sound reduction up to 48dB Rw, tested to BS EN ISO 10140-2:2010. This level of performance meets Part E and BB93 requirements for residential and education projects where acoustic separation through service risers is critical.
Yes. Premium riser doors are cold smoke tested to BS EN 1634-3:2004 with full-perimeter continuous smoke seals. They prevent smoke leakage through service risers on protected escape routes and corridors.
Premium riser doors are airtightness tested to BS EN ISO 9972. They help achieve building envelope air permeability targets and reduce energy loss through service penetrations, supporting Part L compliance.
Premium riser doors are available as single-door configurations from 300 x 300mm up to 1200 x 2400mm. All sizes maintain the same fire, acoustic, smoke and airtightness performance.
Premium riser doors are manufactured and delivered within 3 to 5 working days from our UK facility in Nuneaton. For large volume orders or complex configurations, contact us for a specific lead time.
