Why is following the installation guide important for fire-rated products?

Fire ratings are only valid when products are installed exactly as tested. Deviating from the tested configuration — even small changes to fixings or seals — can void the fire rating and create a compliance risk.

Do you offer on-site installation support?

Yes. Rapid Access provides on-site technical support for complex installations or large projects. Our technical team can visit site to advise on installation, inspect completed work, or train your fitting teams.

What maintenance do access panels and riser doors require?

Most products require minimal maintenance. Guides recommend periodic inspection of hinges, latches, and fire seals. Fire-rated products should have intumescent seals checked annually to ensure they remain intact and effective.
